C.N.As (San Jose south)

Immediate need 7 full-time C.N.As positions for Skilled Nursing facility with 163 beds in Evergreen area of San Jose. Scheduled days vary.

Requirements:

- Must be certified as nursing assistant, in good standing in the state of California.

- Be a caring person with good judment skills.

- Able to read and write English.

- Good physical and mental health.

- Attend all required in-service training sessions.

Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care of residents as assigned by charged nurse or nursing supervisor.

- Keep charge nurse informed of resident condition.

- Assist and share work with other team members.

- Report and needed building repairs.

- Washes hands before and after each resident contact.

- Shares esponsibility of maintaining a clean, orderly, attractive environment.

- Holds in confidence all matters coming to her/his knowledge from residents, co-workers, and relatives.

- Report personal and resident injury to supervisor immediately.

- Ensure all residents on her/his team eat, or are fed.

- Assist with rehabilitation according to safety hazards; correcting conditions as possible, reporting other to those who can make corrections.

- Vietnames speaking preferred.

Laundry worker (Part-time) (San Jose south)

Laundry worker (Part-time)

Specific duties and responsibilities:

- Perform day-to-day laundry functions as assigned.

- Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established laundry procedures.

- Collect, sort, and weigh soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., and separate those items and place in appropriate containers or assigned areas.

- Fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry, linen, garments to residents daily and/or as instructed.

- During emergency conditions, assure that clean laundry, linen, garments, etc., are distributed to designated areas as instructed.

- Clean floors, including sweeping, dusting, and damp/wet mopping (NOTE: Assure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.)

- Keep walls and ceilings clean by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.

- Remove dirt dust, grease, film, etc., from equipment or floor surfaces, using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.

- Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.

Requirement:

- Must possess, as minimum, a high school diploma, or its equivalent.

- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language.

- Must possess good mental and physical health along with potential of making proper judgment skills.

- Able to assess and make proper judgment in recognizing and reporting unsafe and unsanitary conditions in the laundry areas.

- Be an understanding, patient employee who will work well with the residents of the facility along with other department staff members.

Dietary Aide (Part-time) (San Jose south)

Dietary Aide (Part-time)

Immediate part-time Dietary Kitchen Aide position open five days per week from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm at a 163 bed nursing home in Evergreen area of San Jose. Scheduled days vary.

Requirements:

- Must be available to work any day of the week.

- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language.

- Must Possess good mental and physical health.

- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

- Able to assess and make proper judgment in recognizing and reporting unsafe and unsanitary conditions in the kitchen area.

- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.

- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.

- Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room as instructed.

- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

- Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.

- Perform dish washing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils are readily available for next meal.

- Return clean utensils to proper storage areas.

- Sweeping/mopping floors as directed.

- General sanitation and serving dinner meals on a tray line for residents receiving specialized diets.

- Perform other assigned duties.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent
